A recent introduction from British breeding. Gage ‘Stella`s Star’ produces good crops of mildly flavoured fruits that can be eaten fresh or cooked into pies and jams. The yellow fruits ripen in mid August. This self fertile variety is reliable and particularly productive compared to many other Gages, even from an early age.

- VVA1 – Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8′)
- St. Julien – Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4.5m (14′)
This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner.
