Anticipate high yields of Honeyberries with a particularly good flavour, from Lonicera kamtschatica ‘Myberry Sweet’ forms a rounded deciduous shrub that bears lightly scented, tubular flowers in spring. The plump berries can be eaten fresh or added to preserves, cakes and jams for a lovely sweet flavour. This Canadian bred cultivar is extremely hardy, and surprisingly undemanding. If you don’t have the space in your kitchen garden, this attractive deciduous shrub will look equally at home in ornamental borders. Honeyberry plants are self fertile but planting them in close proximity to one another will improve pollination and increase your crop of tasty fruits. Height and spread: 1.5m (5′).
Caution: It should be noted that not all berries of the Lonicera family are edible.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
