Pennyroyal Mint is traditionally used to make a refreshing, aromatic tea. This hardy, ground hugging perennial, has pungent peppermint scented leaves when crushed. Throughout summer, the pretty lilac blooms make a pretty display, attracting pollinating insects to the garden. Mentha pulegium thrives in moist soils, romping through the front of sunny borders or paddling at the edge of ponds. Height: 20cm (8″). Spread: 50cm (20″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 5cm (2″) below water level.
