Modular Wooden Compost Bin

Manufactured from managed forests, the Wooden Compost Bin base unit consists of 4 posts and 20 panels. The system creates a 4 sided bin with a 573 litre capacity that simply slots together with no need for nails or screws. The slats can be adjusted to allow good aeration which is vital for creating a good compost.

As green waste decomposes, it should be turned to improve aeration. Installing a second Compost Module will make this process easier, allowing compost to be turned from the base unit straight into the module. Compost modules consist of 2 posts and 15 panels which are designed to sit attach to the original base unit or another module unit. In time, you can add as many modules as you need to create a simple yet effective system.

Retaining heat in your compost bin is critical. In winter, temperatures can drop dramatically, and decomposition slows. The Wooden Compost Bin System Duvet helps to maintain temperatures by keeping your compost bin snug and warm. Made from woven polypropylene and plastic bubble wrap with brass eyelets.

Each bin measures: 91cm (3′) square x 68cm (27″) high.
