Shipping Information

Order Processing

We carefully prepare each order with the same attention we give to growing our plants:

  • All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays)
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We offer two shipping options to suit your needs:

  • Standard Shipping (£12.95): Shipped via DHL or FedEx with delivery in 10-15 business days after dispatch
  • Free Shipping: Available for orders over £50, shipped via EMS with delivery in 15-25 business days after dispatch

Please note: We ship worldwide but cannot deliver to some Asian countries and remote regions. Delivery times may vary depending on customs processing in your country.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely happy with your Orchard Lane purchase. If you’re not satisfied, here’s how our returns process works:

General Return Policy

  • Returns and exchanges must be requested within 15 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except in cases of our error)

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the perishable nature of living plants, we cannot accept returns on the following items unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:

  • All fruit trees: Apple & Pear Trees, Citrus Trees, Fig Trees, Exotic Fruit Trees
  • Berry plants: Blueberry Plants, Currant Plants, All Other Berry Fruits
  • Vegetable plants: Artichoke Plants, Asparagus Plants, Brassica & Leafy Green Plants
  • First Early Potatoes
  • Culinary Herb Plants

How to Return an Item

Follow these simple steps to initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact us within 15 days by emailing [email protected] with your order number and return details
  2. We’ll respond with return instructions and the shipping address (returns to our Norwich nursery require prior authorization)
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all plant tags and documentation
  4. Ship the package to the provided address, keeping your tracking number
  5. We’ll inspect your return and notify you about approval of your refund or exchange

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing insurance for valuable items
  • For damaged or incorrect items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery – we’ll cover return shipping

Refunds & Exchanges

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive the return
  • You’ll receive email confirmation when your refund is processed
  • For exchanges, we’ll ship the replacement once we receive the original item
